There is quite a bit going on this week for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its newest mode, Warzone. To begin, Season 3 has arrived late on on April 7 with a scheduled update. During launch week, going on right now, there are several new additions.
For starters, Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, and Aniyah Incursion have been added as new multiplayer maps. New weapons have been added including the Renetti and SKS, a new operator skin for Alex, and new vehicle skins.
Throughout the season, players can expect to see two new operators with Ronin and Iskra added later. A new multiplayer map and gunfight map will be coming soon, Hardhat and Aisle 9. There will be two new multiplayer modes added, Gun Game Reloaded and Reinfected Ground War. Finally, players can expect to see new gunsmith customs, and a new weapon only labelled as “Classified” for the time being.
Warzone is seeing a major change in a good way with the implementation of four-player squads. This is sure to make the action far more intense for organized players, and likely difficult for those who queue up solo with a ground of random players. While the download should have happened automatically last night on console, PC players will likely need to update the client manually.
