There is quite a bit happening this week when it comes to Dota 2. For starters, patch 7.26a has been released which brings major changes to movement speed items, prices for certain recipes that until now have been too easy to acquire quickly, and nerfs to several heroes.
In esports, Peter “ppd” Dager shocked the competitive community by announcing his formal retirement from professional Dota 2. Ppd has been a constant presence in the gaming community since 2013 and has worked with several top organizations.
Following the news of ppd’s retirement, team Ninjas in Pyjamas has revealed five new players to represent the team in competitive Dota 2 events. These new players include ex-Chicken Fighters Charlie “CharlieDota” Arat, Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha, Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek, Adrian “Era” Kryeziu, and Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev. To make room for the newest members, the team has let go of their former roster, consisting of Daxak, TANNER, Lelis, and standins MiLAN and Blizzy.
