Now is a great time to jump into Final Fantasy XIV as the developers are still offering a free login event from now until May 17. Once a player logs in, they will have eight days of free game time without having to subscribe to a monthly payment plan, and this is a great way to check back on any characters if you have been away for a while.
On that note for players who might have been away for a while, the automatic housing demolition remains temporarily suspended due to Covid-19 concerns.
Players who have been looking forward to Patch 5.3 will need to wait a little longer, as the launch date has been delayed again due to Covid-19 issues affecting the ability of the developer to complete it on time. However, the next Letter from the Producer LIVE event will feature the first preview of what to expect in Patch 5.3. The preview is scheduled for this Friday, April 24, at 4 AM PDT on both YouTube and Twitch.
As always, the first half will preview new and exciting changes arriving with the next patch, and the second half will feature a stroll with Yoshi-P, where their Lalafell visits a different World and interacts with adventurers there.
