It has been a very busy week down on Fortnite’s cluster of islands this week, as the 12.60 update dropped and brought a lot along with it.
There was big news in Fortnite this week as the long-awaited 12.60 patch landed in-game. It has been a three-week wait since Fortnite was last updated, making this one a significant one. It has brought with it new challenges, new cosmetic items, and more hints as to what will bring the curtain down on Chapter 2: Season 2.
The new challenges offer a boatload of XP and require players to “Storm the Agency.” It feels as if The Agency will be the epicenter of whatever is going to happen throughout the rest of this season. What’s more, it seems that Midas and his Doomsday Machine will be the cause of what could be another spectacular cinematic event in Fortnite.
Players have also noticed the clouds above The Agency have started to form a circle. Again, it seems Midas may have powered up his machine and the end is nigh for Season 2. Providing the current season isn’t subject to another delay, the changeover will take place during the first week of June. Which means there’s not long left for Midas to do what he needs to do. Next week in Fortnite might well be even more eventful than this one.
