With Demon Hunters still running amok in Hearthstone, it will be a relief to see balance patch 17.0.2 applied early this week. The exact date has not been listed, but Tuesday is typically when Blizzard tends to patch their games. Apart from a second round of nerfs to the Demon Hunter set of cards, several other cards are also being changed. Players can click here to read all about those changes.
With this second set of nerfs, players should expect to see a rise in win rates for all other classes, and those with archetypes that prefer to head to the mid or late game should finally have an opportunity to shine.
Season 1 of the Hearthstone Grandmasters 2020 officially kicked off this week and has matches live today consisting of the Conquest with 1 Ban format. This season features a changing format each week that should keep the competitive gameplay fresh. Beginning tomorrow with Week 2, the format will be Four Deck Last Hero Standing with 1 ban.
