Path of Exile is going strong this week as players are one month into the three-month league, Delirium. Delirium has introduced a new mechanic where each area has a mirror of Delirium, passing through this mirror introduces a fog to the world that as you explore leads to increasingly stronger enemies with increasingly better rewards.

There’s still a lot of time left in the league for players to dive in and gather unique items like the armor set of Madness, various Orbs for crafting, and a number of Jewels that provide helpful effects and stat boosts.

In addition to the Delirium league this week the developers have announced new Polaris Microtransactions. For the most part, these are black and white themed cosmetic items to adorn your hideout, change the appearance of your character, and even have a black or white rat accompany you on your adventures.

There are new Thaumaturgy mystery boxes that contain a number of randomized prizes equal in value to the cost of the box. These Thaumaturgic items introduced cosmetic items and effects that fit a steampunk theme.

The developers have also released a video of a presentation made by their senior programmer Alexander Sannikov in 2019. In the video on Youtube he discusses the technology behind the game’s renderings and improvements made for Path Of Exile 2.

Not a lot has changed, but it’s currently a fun league with great microtransactions and a lot of hype for POE 2.
