This Week In Vr A Battle Royale And A Sale On Asgard S Wrath

While the whole world might be holding their breath for Final Fantasy VII: Remake, there’s some awesome deals and new releases in VR this week too.

Asgard’s Wrath, one of the best VR games of 2019, is on sale this week for $34.99. In our review, we said Asgard’s Wrath is a “highly polished, deep, and interesting RPG.” It’s also the longest VR campaign we’ve played, coming in at close to 30 hours. If bang for your buck is what you’re looking for, don’t miss this sale.

A massive update coming to Bonework Thursday will bring new maps and weapons to the hit VR Shooter. Three maps in total, titled “redacted Chamber,” “handgunBox,” and “Tuscany” are coming to the game along with a new P350 Handgun. Check out this video about “redacted Chamber” below.

Virtual Battlegrounds is a battle royale built exclusively for VR. The game will features both squad and solo play in games for up to 24 players. The Steam page for the game advertises both basketball and punching people to death. Early Access starts April 8th on Steam.

Finally, Ironlights is a 1v1 weapon-based fighting game that features fluid melee combat in PVP and cross-platform multiplayer dueling. The game, which releases April 9th, will have a full single-player campaign as well as online multiplayer.
