There is quite a bit going on this week in World of Warcraft. For starters, Blizzard’s extension of the experience and reputation buff until the Shadowlands pre-release patch means that players are still eagerly leveling up more and more alternate accounts to 120, and with them, their professions. The result is a seller’s market of crafting materials; players can make some fantastic money before the launch of the next expansion by spending their time gathering.
The Battle for Azeroth Dungeon event is wrapping up shortly as well. Right now, all related dungeons’ final bosses will award players with an extra item when defeated, which will be available until Tuesday, April 28.
A micro-event event will take place with Volunteer Guard Day, running from April 28-29. Players can “/salute” a guard to show off their appreciation for the tireless, never-resting guards of each city. This provides a buff that turns players into guards, and they need to defend the city against “City Invaders” – all for a title that lasts for the duration of the event.
For Pet-lovers, all pets will earn triple experience from their activities, making it the perfect time to level up!
Finally, the end of the week will mark the start of Children’s Week, taking place from May 2-9. Readers can check back here later for a guide on everything to do during the event.
