Tom Holland S Peter Parker Will Become Hawkeye In An Episode Of Marvel S What If

Fans have found evidence that indicates Tom Holland may appear in an episode of Marvel’s What If…? on Disney Plus, not as Spider-Man, but as Hawkeye.

While dissecting an old trailer for What If…?, Twitter user @MCU_Source discovered an animated character that looks suspiciously like Tom Holland as Hawkeye. While the Twitter account took this as confirmation that there will be a What If…? episode about Peter Parker becoming Hawkeye, another piece of evidence has also come to light.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Variety’s Senior Film Reporter Matt Donelly was inside Hall H when Marvel’s presentation took place. In a video recap of the event, Matt specifically mentions seeming images of Tom Holand as Hawkeye.

It seems more than likely that Tom Holland will indeed be playing a Hawkeye version of Peter Parker in the animated series What If…?. Other confirmed plotlines include an episode where Peggy Carter becomes Captain America and an episode where T’Challa (Black Panther) takes Star Lord’s role in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

While some of Marvel’s other Disney+ shows have been slowed or halted by the mandatory quarantine, Marvel’s What If…? has managed to stay on schedule. Episodes will begin airing on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
