Fans of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 are in for a treat, as news dropped today that the games will be getting a remaster. If you loved shredding with Tony, it looks like you’ll be able to once again. The Pro Skater 1 and 2 remaster will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 4.
The remaster will include lots of original content with all of the nostalgia. The original characters will be coming back along with their tricks and the original levels. The remaster will also include some new features, including a brand new online multiplayer mode. However, one of the most exciting things coming back is the original soundtrack.
At this time, it is not totally clear how much of the original soundtrack will grace our ears once again. The original game is 20 years old now, and the developers have run into some licensing issues. That being said, several of the original artists and songs from the games will be making a comeback, and fans are ecstatic. The Pro Skater remaster will include the “vast majority” of the original soundtrack, as only a few of the artists had to be dropped due to licensing issues.
The Pro Skater 1 and 2 remaster is a chance to go back to the start and live out your best Tony Hawk shredding dreams, with the perfectly epic soundtrack.
