Trials of Mana has a nude mod, and no, it doesn’t remove Charlotte’s clothes.
In all the excitement of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix also released another old JRPG remake in Trials of Mana, the third game in the Mana franchise. It’s good, according to our reviewer Jamie Latour, who called it the “second best JRPG remake of April.”
But seriously, if you’re a fan of the series or remember playing the original game, you’ll find a lot to love in the remake. We gave it a great review, and Metacritic has also been charitable to all three versions of Trial of Mana, with the PC version just eeking out the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions.
Also, the PC version has a big advantage over either the Switch or PS4 in that it can run mods. And there’s also a nude mod now, so there’s that.
It didn’t take long for the internet to figure out a way of removing both Angela and Riesz’s clothing. You can check out the mod and some gameplay footage here, with the usual warning that you enter at your own risk.
While both models are very obviously naked, they’re not exactly lifelike in terms of jiggle physics. However, there’s a thread on LoversLab that seems to be actively working on this problem, so check that out if you want to see the latest and greatest in Trials of Mana nude mods.
