Weekly Shonen Jump is responsible for bringing some of the greatest manga of all time into the public eye, and as a result they own the rights to several of the most well-known manga characters ever. Crossover video games featuring characters from different Shonen Jump series have existed since 1988, but the first one centered around fighting was 2006’s Battle Stadium D.O.N.

The most recent, 2019’s Jump Force, is also the first to include characters from the massively popular series My Hero Academia – Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and All Might are all playable. Here are some other My Hero Academia characters we think should join them.

10 Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu Asui would make an excellent addition to the Jump Force roster. It would definitely be interesting to see how her Quirk, which gives her frog powers, would be incorporated with Jump Force’s gameplay mechanics. It’s not too powerful, but it’d add a unique fighting style for sure.

Her supermoves are rather limited, but it seems like they’d work fine — given the right amount of creativity on the part of the developers.

9 Himiko Toga

Himiko Toga is one of My Hero Academia’s most interesting villains, and she’s quite the favorite among the series’ fans.

She’d definitely be fun to play as, given her Quirk of being able to disguise herself as someone else, which is something that would be exciting to see the Jump Force team take on.

8 Mirio Togata

Mirio is one of the coolest young heroes in the My Hero Academia universe, and his Quirk (which allows him to pass through walls or the ground) isn’t too foreign to Jump Force’s gameplay style.

He might not be as well-known as some of the others, but he has a decently-sized following and is generally regarded as one of the series’ best characters.

7 Eraserhead

Aizawa (also known as Eraserhead) is the Class 1-A homeroom teacher at U.A. High School. His Quirk allows him to erase someone else’s Quirk just by looking at them.

Playing as him would definitely be an engaging experience, and all he needs to be a viable game character are some offensive moves.

6 Tenya Iida

Tenya Iida is the no-nonsense class representative for U.A. Class 1-A. Year after year, he ranks highly on the charts for My Hero Academia’s most popular character, but he still hasn’t been rewarded with an appearance in Jump Force.

His Quirk is Engine: he has an engine in the back of each of his calves, and these twin engines give him a super speed boost.

5 Overhaul

Overhaul (also known as Kai Chisaki) is one of My Hero Academia’s more diabolical villains, with an entire story arc centered around his criminal exploits.

His Quirk is one of the series’ most original, and most powerful. It allows him to deconstruct and reconstruct matter, giving him full control over his surroundings. How this would translate to a video game world is unclear, but it makes the idea all the more desirable.

4 Stain

Stain (also known as Chizome Akaguro) is another fan-favorite villain, memorable for having started out as a hero but deciding to become a “Hero Killer” after discovering flaws in the Heroics system. He is also notable for mortally wounding Tenya Iida’s older brother Tensei during their battle.

His Quirk grants him the ability to paralyze any target he desires simply by tasting their blood.

3 Ochaco Uraraka

Ochaco Uraraka is a warm, bubbly hero whose Quirk allows her to make objects levitate by touching them with her fingertips.

With all the popular characters being added to Jump Force, it’s a shame she was glossed over, especially considering how large of a fanbase she has among Shonen Jump readers.

2 All For One

All For One is by far the biggest psychopath in My Hero Academia’s entire catalog of villains, even when ranked alongside true monsters like Stain and Overhaul.

The arch-nemesis of All Might and the behind-the-scenes benefactor of the League of Villains, he kills without remorse and, because of his more sinister qualities, would make for a delightfully devilish addition to the Jump Force roster. His Quirk allows him to steal other people’s Quirks — a power that, if he makes a video game appearance, will need to be tweaked slightly so as not to make him far too overpowered.

1 Eijiro Kirishima

Eijiro Kirishima is popular among My Hero Academia fans for several reasons, not the least of which are his upbeat personality and wild fighting style. He’s cool, calm, and athletic, and similarly to Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki, he’d work almost perfectly as a Jump Force character.

His Quirk is also interesting: it allows him to harden his body, giving it a rock-like appearance and making his defenses nearly impenetrable.
