You can get Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn for free if you have Twitch Prime, along with a bunch of other games in August.

Originally released in 2018 as the reboot that nobody asked for, Shaq Fu 2 went from classic fighter to single-player beat ‘em up. But despite being a beat ’em up, Shaq Fu 2 completely lacked co-op modes–a frequent complaint against it, given the fact that every beat ’em up ever made has always had a co-op mode.

It also got some pretty abysmal reviews for being too short and having a sense of humor that was out of touch with the times–doubly so today. A free DLC add-on was later published in 2019 that helped pad-out the single-player campaign where you play as Barack Obama on a mission to murder Kanye West. If that appeals to you, then maybe this is a game to while away the quarantine hours.

Oh, 2019… It was a simpler time back then.

Frankly, any of the games mentioned before Shaq Fu 2 are probably more worthy of your time, but free is free.

Speaking of free, Twitch Prime’s second batch of free SNK games has also dropped. In addition to the games already handed out in June, Twitch Prime subscribers can now pick up Metal Slug 2, SNK 40 Anniversary Collection, Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad, Baseball Stars 2, Sengoku 3, Ironclad, and King of the Monsters.

And if you don’t want free games, then you can at least pick up free loot for your favorite non-free games. There’s new stuff to get in DOOM Eternal, Apex Legends, Epic Seven, King of Avalon, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, GTA Online, Warframe, Destiny 2, and more.

So go mosey on over to the Twitch Prime loot page and get whatever freebies you want. Just be aware that we’re not exactly recommending Shaq Fu 2 to anyone or anything.
