Twitch finally has a directory for esports broadcasts.

Back in the day when Twitch first got started, esports was Twitch’s bread and butter. Not necessarily live broadcasts of online tournaments (although that did happen), but it was where the best players in the world went to broadcast their casual games and training. For many, Twitch donations were a more steady stream of income than actual tournament winnings.

Eventually, people figured out that they could make more cash simply being an online entertainer on Twitch rather than an esports celebrity. But esports is still a major part of Twitch’s revenue, so it’s nice to see that Twitch is finally getting a dedicated directory specifically for esports tournaments and players.

The new directory lists live tourneys, players that are signed to major esports organizations, and personal recommendations based on your viewing history. It’s all broken down by game, so if there’s a specific game you’d really love to see more of just click it to see what pro gamers are currently playing.

Also, live tournaments will be broadcasting on the esports landing page so you’ll always know what major events are going on. Unless they’re not being broadcast on Twitch, in which case you’ll have to use some other streaming service.
