With so many companies and entities using Animal Crossing: New Horizons for advertisement purposes and appealing to consumers, Twitter appears to be joining in, as they have constructed an Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands of their own.
Indeed, the TwitterGaming Twitter account recently posted to the social media platform a brief video that displayed their island. The island was thematically and aesthetically representative of various aspects of Twitter.
The video can be seen below.
The brief video has an overhead view of the New Horizons island, with the perspective being from the plane that players use for travel. The video includes symbols for the hashtag, as well as those for the retweet and replay functions.
The biggest standout is the white Twitter bird at the end of the video against a blue background. This can be seen on both stands for mannequins and shirts as well.
A pond in the shape of a heart can be seen in the video as well, representing that symbol on the platform.
The lighthearted video is actually pretty endearing, coming from Twitter. Given entities as large as the Detroit Lions and more have used the game in creative ways to appeal to players, Twitter itself was bound to use the game for creative purposes.
This does make one wonder, however, if other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram will use the game for similar purposes.
