Continuing throughout this month, an exhibition gallery curated by Crystal Dynamics will be updated with new pieces of art from eight various acclaimed artists in celebration of Tomb Raider Lara Crofts’s 15-year anniversary.
Two new pieces have been added since the online exhibit opened to the public on October 5. New art will be revealed each week until the end of the month with many events coinciding with the exhibition.
Andy Park was the first artist to have his work recognized in the Tomb Raider gallery and now Camilla d’Errico and Long Vo have joined the iconic group. Both artists display a unique variation of the beloved character in their own stylistic choices, which can be said to be nothing short of beautiful.
The first painting from Camilla d’Errico, from Vancouver, BC, is more of a modern twist on surrealism mixed with comic and manga stylings. Camilla’s work can be seen on toys, clothes, accessories, and more. Her current endeavor is the graphic novel Helmetgirls: Origins. From watching the new trailer d’Errico described her influence on her painting:
Long Vo, one of the original co-founders of Gaia Online, takes on more of a darker look into Lara’s path in the game. A freelance illustrator and creative director, Vo has worked art production for Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, Warner Bros, Mattel, Toynami, Harmony Gold, Udon and Capcom. In response to watching the Tomb Raider demo, Long Vo was amazed at how it hit a new sense of fear that the other games never reached, which inspired his piece:
Every Monday and Friday throughout October check back to tombraider.com/15 to find a new tribute piece by a different artist. Each work of art is presented as various sizes - so you can swap out that old desktop or phone background.

As a finale to the events, a limited selection of T-shirts and posters will be available to purchase from The Nerd Machine - with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Child’s Play charity.
Tomb Raider, the highly anticipated reboot, will be available next Fall. Be sure to watch the full trailer that was released at E3 earlier this year!
