Two Point Campus, the follow up to Two Point Hospital, has appeared on the Microsoft Store (the page has since been taken down), despite there having been no official announcement for the game. It appears that it has been leaked ahead of its reveal.
Two Point Hospital rose to popularity due to its unique take on the sim genre. The game turned hospital management on its head by tasking players with designing and operating a healthcare system, all while attempting to cure fictitious, comical ailments such as “light-headedness” and cubisim. The hilarity that ensues during gameplay has even inspired various memes. Although Two Point Hospital’s comedic scenarios were definitely a big draw for players, they were not exclusively responsible for its success. The game provides surprisingly difficult and engaging challenges, which has prompted countless tips and guides to help players increase their cure rates or avoid bankruptcy.
Whereas Two Point Hospital has players designing hospitals, managing staff, and curing patients, Two Point Campus will bring the sim to the world of academia. Players can build the university campus of their dreams by constructing buildings, landscaping, hiring staff, and offering an array of courses. They can choose the design of the buildings, the placement of the trees and sculptures, the courses and clubs they offer, and even the professors and researchers they want on their staff. Everything is on the table.
Of course, as with its predecessor, simply operating a university is not the only objective. This time, the twist comes in the form of wildly interesting university course offerings, with students having the opportunity to take courses such as Knight School (which is exactly what it sounds like) and Gastronomy. Players will also have a high level of involvement in the lives of their students. To run a successful university, they will need to get to know the students’ individual personalities and keep them happy and thriving with a variety of courses, clubs, and other social opportunities.
Without an official announcement, we do not yet have a release date, pricing information, or confirmation regarding the consoles on which the game will be available, although the game is currently listed for the Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC. Considering the leak, however, it is likely safe to assume that more details will be revealed very soon.
