E3’s schedule has taken shape, and Ubisoft has nailed down its timeslot. On June 12 at 12 PM PST (3 PM EST), Ubisoft Forward will bring “a diverse content lineup including fan favorites, newly announced titles, and a few surprises, too.”
Ubisoft’s E3 presentation starts at 11 AM PST with a pre-show bringing news about upcoming updates for Trackmania, The Crew 2, Brawhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and For Honor. Then the big show starts at noon with more info on Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, and Rainbow Six Quarantine.
Only it won’t be called Rainbow Six Quarantine. Ubisoft has made it clear that the game’s name has changed, but to what, we’re going to have to find out on June 12.
Rumors from back in February pointed to a possible “Parasite” moniker, but Ubisoft confirmed that was just a placeholder name for internal teams. Leaked technical alpha tests also went by Parasite as they showcased three-player co-op gameplay against an alien invasion, also bringing elements of Rainbow Six Siege’s operators into the mix.
We’ll get to see more of Quarantine/Parasite/Something starting at 1 PM. Following Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft will host a “deep dive into the game formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine” with special guests actually playing the game. There will also be a discussion about Rainbow Six Siege’s new operator, Thunderbird, which might tie into Quarantine’s gameplay.
Ubisoft also promised goodies for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, what’s coming in Rainbow Six Siege, and updates on the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest and Werewolves Within.
Ubisoft has its own website set up to watch the whole thing go down on June 12. E3 runs from June 12 to June 15 with presentations from Ubisoft, Nintendo, Xbox and Bethesda, and many more.
