According to the UK PlayStation Store, Spider-Man is going to be one of June’s free games on PlayStation Plus.

We’re still waiting for Sony’s big PS5 reveal event (rumored to be coming in the near future), but in the meantime, how’s a free Spider-Man to tide you over?

The UK’s PlayStation Store seems to be suffering a weird glitch that points to Spider-Man as next month’s free game with PlayStation Plus. Gaming Route notes that when you add the game to your cart, the “free with Plus” line comes up. However, it disappears when you actually try to check out.

Spider-Man is currently on Sony’s PlayStation Now subscription service in July, so it’s possible that they’re just going to give it away for the last few months that the game is available there for people who are a little slow to progress.

It’s also possible that Sony is planning to make the rumored Spider-Man sequel a big part of the PlayStation 5 reveal. Giving away Spider-Man to PlayStation Now members would be a good way to hype an upcoming sequel.

The PlayStation Twitter account has already confirmed that Call of Duty: WWII will be free for June, but hasn’t mentioned anything about Spider-Man. We’ll keep our eye on it in case the web-slinger pops up.
