Fans of the joyful Untitled Goose Game will be happy to learn that developer House House with iam8bit and Skybound to release some physical editions of its internet hit stealth game. Available for both the PS4 and Switch, you’ll be able to own a little piece of the mischievous goose to put on your shelf for friends to drool over starting September 29.
Over on Skybound’s website, you’ll find a standard edition that runs you $30 on PS4 and $35 on Switch. At iam8bit, the “Lovely Edition” is going for $35 on PS4 and $40 on Switch. It comes in a 100% recyclable package (with Biolefn Shrink-Wrap), has a reversible cover, includes a 24-page mail-order style magazine, has an 11"x17" foldout map of the game’s town, and has the shockingly rude “No Goose” sticker.
All things considered, this is a cute little collector’s edition. The price might be a little steep for what Untitled Goose Game is, but diehard fans can’t go wrong here. It’s not like anything is bad about the game, either. It’s just a tad bit short.
If you aren’t about collecting games, iam8bit will also be selling a vinyl of the game’s soundtrack. For $30, you’ll get the full soundtrack on a green disc made from recyclable materials. That’s nifty and I’m a big fan of the minimalist cover.
