Infinity Ward is making a change to one of the most brutal aspects of Call of Duty: Warzone. In a community update on April 24, the developer announced that it will be adjusting circles in Warzone next week.

Call of Duty: Warzone has quickly become one of the biggest shooters on the planet, as 50 million players have now enjoyed the battle royale. The title has been supported unendingly, including new modes and game support. This newest update looks to change the flow of gameplay in an interesting way.

Infinity Ward has communicated in its community update that it will be adjusting the speed and sizing of the circle starting next week in Warzone. Players may love these changes, as the current circle is extremely fast and dangerous. Perhaps the update will slow it down a bit, allowing players to survive the circle, especially in between fights.

In many battle royales, including the likes of Apex Legends and Fortnite, players can remain inside of the “storm” while healing up and fighting, but that isn’t the case in Warzone. Even if the gas itself remains as strong as it is, which requires a gas mask to survive for an extra few moments, if the circle were to slow down, it would change the flow of gameplay.

The size of the circle is getting a change as well. Perhaps Infinity Ward will be making the circle smaller to start, which would allow the following circles to close a bit slower. Players need to do many things to win in Warzone, and playing the circle correctly is certainly one of them.

The community update also talks about a new playlist that will be one the way, that being Shoot the Ship 24/7, which is a fan-favorite. Activision is also addressing many bugs, including one that affects a camo for the SKS, which is a solid new marksman rifle for Warzone.

Warzone has continued to receive updates, including a much-needed update to address cheaters that fans have been begging for. Continuing to support a game is the best way to keep a title alive and thriving, as long as the game isn’t altered drastically with those updated. Just like Field of Dreams, if Infinity Ward supports it, they will play.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
