Valve has confirmed the long-awaited Dota 2 The International 2020 Battle Pass is coming tomorrow. While the event’s Battle Pass is finally dropping, this year’s International has unfortunately been postponed to an unknown date. The Battle Pass was slightly pushed back as well due to coronavirus-related delays.

Valve mentioned the Battle Pass in an April announcement, where the Dota 2 developer revealed the Pass would be slightly delayed due to issues caused by COVID-19. This announcement came alongside the news that The International 2020 would be postponed, potentially until the following year, also due to the global coronavirus pandemic. While The International has not been given a new start date, the event’s Battle Pass will finally be available tomorrow, May 25th.

The International Battle Pass is made available for purchase every year, a few months before that year’s International is set to begin. The Pass is available in tiers, with 25% of the revenue going straight into The International’s prize pool. TI is known for its staggering prize pools, reaching $34 million in 2019. Champions OG Esports took home $15 million.

Like years prior, the TI10 Battle Pass will feature a multitude of in-game rewards including new animations, consumable items, voice lines, hero equipment sets, and much more. The Pass will also include Battle Points, which are rewarded after completing certain objectives.

No official prices have been revealed, though the 2019 edition started at $9.99. The International 2020’s Battle Pass will be available on May 25th.
