Season 3: Rivals, is up and running in Vigor with a brand-new game mode and new weapons. Outlanders will have a broad variety of weapons to add to their arsenal for the Xbox One community, featuring many long-time requests by players. Nintendo Switch players have only a few more days to wait until the same patch goes live on that console.
Speaking about the new season, the developers discuss how the largest addition to the game is a seasonal mode titled Sawmill Shootout. Here the action will mostly take place in medium-to-close range gunfights in a smaller, sectioned-off area of the Sawmill map.
These shootouts offer a Vigor experience that is completely based around combat alone, and since players do not bring their equipment from their Shelters, there is no risk of losing any gear. This then becomes one of the best places for players to improve their skills.
As for new weapons, there’s quite a bit to choose from. Players have requested additional silenced weapons and Bohemia is delivering. Three guns now come in silenced versions for players who prefer a stealth approach: The PSS, SVU, and MP5-K SD3.
