To recap
If you want to go electric in the easiest way possible, and if you don’t want to make a big statement, then the eGolf is the car for you. It looks just like a regular Golf, with all the space, looks and interior appointments, too. The 36kWh battery gives a useful range and there’s more equipment than in a normal Golf. It’s hard to find fault unless you’re after big thrills or Tesla-style tech.
