Volkswagen updates its small hatch to share much – including a bigger cabin – with the Golf. It is well executed and has easy to use technology, a very mature feeling and is good to drive. It won’t set your world alight in terms of fun and fashion – but if you’re looking for a sophisticated and high quality small hatchback the Polo is better than ever.
