The Xbox One Elite Controller is by far one of the best controllers gamers can purchase, and it has a high price tag to match. There’s no doubt that some gamers have held off on picking up an Xbox One Elite Controller due to its high price, and those gamers may be interested in a new Walmart sale that offers what is perhaps the biggest discount on the Xbox One Elite Controller yet.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that the Xbox One Elite Controller Walmart is selling at a discounted price isn’t the latest iteration of the controller. On the contrary, Microsoft announced a brand new Elite Controller at its E3 2019 press conference. Dubbed the Xbox One Elite Controller Series 2, it offers a variety of improvements at a slightly higher price of $179.99. The Xbox One Elite Controller Series 2 will be available to purchase beginning November 4, 2019.
While some may rather wait for the Xbox One Elite Controller Series 2, others will be satisfied with the original Xbox One Elite Controller. Others still may be a bit hesitant to purchase such an expensive controller with the next-gen consoles set to launch in 2020, but it’s worth pointing out that Microsoft has confirmed Xbox One controllers will be compatible with Project Scarlett.
