Last March, Games Workshop announced it had hired Syama Pedersen to make Astartes 2, the sequel to Pedersen’s wildly successful YouTube fan animation that had gathered millions of views over several years. But Pedersen wasn’t alone–Games Workshop also announced The Exodite from Lost Legion Studios, Primaris: The Last Templar from PaxelArt, Iron Within from Codex Film, and more were coming.

Turns out that the company has 11 new animations in the works. Not only that, Games Workshop will start streaming those animations via its own streaming service starting in July.

Warhammer Plus is the streaming app that will be available for smart TVs, iOS, and Android. We don’t have the specifics on what the subscription fees will be, but Games Workshop promises more details are coming on June 23.

As for the shows themselves, the latest highlight reel reveals some impressive contributions from shows like Altar of Wrath, Angels of Death, The Exodite, The Interrogator, and seven more. Some are 2D animation, some are 3D animation, but all share the gritty, grim, and extra-dark tone set in the Warhammer 40K universe (although at least one of them deals with the fantasy Age of Sigmar universe).

Speaking of Age of Sigmar, our own Cian Maher got his hands on Total War: Warhammer 3 recently and also got to talk with some of the developers about all the content it’ll have post-release. There’s a lot of Warhammer coming soon.
