The FFAR 1 can dominate in Warzone with the right attachments. Many streamers have used this gun over the past season, so it’s time to take a look at the best attachments available for the FFAR 1.

When Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War released in 2020, everyone questioned how the slate of new weapons would integrate with Warzone, the extremely popular Battle Royale that launched the same year.

We got our answer very quickly, as Cold War guns started appearing around Verdansk when Cold War Season 1 launched in December. This significantly changed the custom loadout meta, while the loot pool had its biggest shake-up in months.

Whilst the M16 and Mac-10 were everyone’s favorite choices for loadouts, the FFAR 1 was now a common gun to find around Verdansk. It packed a punch, but its slow bullet velocity and awful recoil meant that it became a huge burden.

If you want to make the best FFAR 1 in Warzone, here are all the attachments you need for the weapon.

The Best FFAR 1 Attachments in Warzone

  • Ammunition: Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag Barrel: 21.2″ Ranger Muzzle: Agency Suppressor Stock: Raider Stock Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip

Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag

This magazine actually holds a different amount of ammo in Cold War and Warzone. It is the Salvo 44 Rnd Fast Mag in Cold War, unlocked at weapon level 51.

However, in Warzone, many Cold War weapons got an increased ammo count to make them more competitively viable against Modern Warfare weapons.

Therefore, the FFAR 1 can have a 50-round magazine in Warzone with the Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag compared to 25 rounds in the base weapon. This means you won’t need to reload as often, helping you deal with multiple enemies in a squad quicker.

21.2″ Ranger

The 21.2" Ranger barrel offers an increased bullet velocity, reducing the time to kill (TTK) for the FFAR 1.

Although some may prefer the reinforced heavy barrel for its increased effective damage range, the ranger barrel performs better at short-mid engagements, killing enemies much quicker.

Agency Suppressor

After a turbulent history in Warzone, the Agency Suppressor is finally back and better than ever before.

To quickly recap, the Agency Suppressor was added alongside the Cold War guns in Warzone Season 1. It received a boost compared to the variant in Cold War multiplayer, making it comparable to Modern Warfare’s Monolithic Suppressor.

However, when Season 2 launched, the Agency Suppressor received a huge nerf. It lost most of its advantages, completely removing the bullet velocity increase. This was seemingly a mistake which Raven Software, the team overseeing Warzone, pledged to fix.

That hotfix went live recently and now the Agency Suppressor has been restored. The attachment now offers a range of benefits, making it essential for the FFAR 1. The list of pros includes:

  • Sound Suppression Vertical Recoil Control Bullet Velocity Effective Damage Range

With those changes, the FFAR becomes much more effective at any range. Bullet velocity shortens your TTK, whilst effective damage range means that you can use it to engage enemies further away and remain effective.

Vertical recoil control will also make you more effective across the board, as the gun will be much more accurate.

The bullet velocity increases offered by this and the ranger combine to completely transform the FFAR 1. They make the FFAR’s bullets much faster, akin to SMGs that are extremely popular across the playerbase.

Raider Stock

The raider stock improves your mobility drastically in a few different ways. It offers a faster ADS firing move speed and ADS walking move speed, so whether you are firing or peeking a corner, you will be faster.

You could potentially catch your enemy off guard with this speed bonus, and it just generally helps you move quicker whilst in a firefight.

This stock also decreases sprint to fire time. This means that the delay from when you stop sprinting to when you start firing your gun will be much shorter.

If you are approaching a corner or advancing on a position whilst aiming down sights, it’s very important to use the raider stock. This is incredibly useful in late-game situations, as the map is a lot tighter.

Field Agent Grip

The base FFAR 1 has a terrible recoil pattern. It presents an ‘S’ shape that essentially means your bullets are going all over the place. It is ineffective in almost every situation.

The Field Agent Grip does a lot to fix this, increasing both horizontal and vertical recoil control. This makes the FFAR much more accurate, so it is a more viable gun in Warzone.

With all of the above attachments, the FFAR 1 is ready to perform well across a range of scenarios. Thanks to its high bullet velocity, the FFAR 1 has a TTK that can combat SMGs.

It is also much more accurate thanks to the recoil control in this loadout. Combine these factors with the suppression offered by the suppressor and you could down your enemy before they even know where your shots are coming from.
