One of the best submachine guns, or weapons of any class currently available in Call of Duty: Warzone, is the MP7. Given the high volume of MP7’s on the Verdansk Warzone map, we are going to focus on the MP7 loadouts to help players achieve that elusive warzone victory. Recent news and events happening in the multiplayer mode also award players a legendary MP7, making the focus on this weapon timely.
For SMG loadouts it is important to define not only the attachments for the primary weapon, but the complete loadout as even the choice of secondary weapon changes the gameplay mode. As you will see in this guide, some of the key attachments are not available until weapon level 50 is unlocked, so we will tackle a starter build, a more balanced MP7 build, and medium-range stealth build.
Starter MP7 build
The best thing about the MP7 to new Warzone players is that it is available all over the place, and it is incredibly lethal even with no attachments. Consequently, it is also one of the easiest to level up even for those sticking to the free version of the game. To maximize player benefit from friendly loadout drops, this build will help you have a familiar and lethal weapon to protect you as the gas circle gets ever smaller. Here we focus on unlocks below level 11.
- Muzzle - Tactical Suppressor (10) Laser - 1mW Laser (8) Underbarrel - Commando Foregrip (6) Optics - Operator Reflex Sight (7) Perks - Frangible Disabling (4)
Secondary
For new players, many of their pistols will not yet be leveled up, so a secondary weapon to enable situational adaptability is key. For the starter build, we recommend the trusty RPG, where plentiful amounts of additional rounds can be found throughout Verdansk.
Perks
- EOD (Perk 1) Ghost (Perk 2) Amped (Perk 3)
Balanced MP7 Build
Once you get to level 39 with your MP7, many more options become available in terms of attachments as well as overall gameplay style. Here we suggest the compensator in terms of overall balance, however, if the only mode you play is Warzone, it still may make more sense to keep one of the suppressors equipped.
- Barrel - FSS Strike (15) Muzzle - Compensator (36) or Lightweight Suppressor (29) Stock - Forge TAC Ultralight (22) Perk - Sleight of Hand (39) Ammunition - 50 Round Mags (19)
With a medium amount of progress through the weapon levels, here there is a need for some user choice. Many prefer to pair the SMG with a sniper rifle on their loadouts, to enable the ability for up close devastation with their primary loadout coupled with the capacity to reach out and touch foes from afar. If pairing with a sniper rifle, we would recommend the HDR.
- EOD (Perk 1) Overkill (Perk 2) Tracker (Perk 3)
Medium Range Stealth Build
With the MP7 unlocked through level 50, a medium-range stealth build becomes available while still maintaining close quarters lethality. The versatility of this weapon is wide open in this build, enabling a significant ability to keep the same weapon out for most situations (as long as snipers can be avoided). The build is fairly similar to the prior build, but players cannot forget to swap in the Monolithic Suppressor once weapon level 50 is achieved, and extra ammo never hurts.
- Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor (50) Stock - Forge TAC Ultralight (22) Barrel - FSS Strike (15) Ammunition - 60 Round Mags (38) Rear Grip - Stippled Grip Tape (26)
Given the addition of the monolithic suppressor to this build, we would recommend an Akimbo dual Renetti build as the secondary weapon. Of course, akimbo pistols of all varieties are incredibly viable close-range weapons that allow players to keep the ghost trait active in the event they get to a loadout without a viable primary weapon to retain as secondary.
- Cold Blooded (Perk 1) Ghost (Perk 2) Tracker (Perk 3)
With these three builds, players should able to effectively engage the enemy in a variety of situations with the MP7.
