An unlikely ally helped turn the tide in a 1v1 battle in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Using the terrain to your advantage is an important skill in any battle royale game, but especially so in Warzone. High ground, firing lanes, and which windows are safe to shoot through are all important concepts, but so too are more basic ideas like which parts of the map are moveable and which aren’t.
Turns out, dumpsters can’t be moved. That fact saved Reddit user CaptnPriceX’s life in a recent Warzone showdown.
After dispatching an enemy, CaptnPriceX took cover behind a dumpster while they reloaded. Then, a military cargo truck came barreling towards them, catching them completely by surprise. But since they were behind the dumpster, the truck stopped at the immovable refuse carrier and spared CaptnPriceX.
Thinking fast, CaptnPriceX scrambled up the dumpster, got in the apparently abandoned truck, and started to reverse, only to find their opponent attempt to reclaim the lost dump truck. More quick thinking allowed CaptnPriceX to back up just enough to squash their opponent against immovable dumpsters.
Those dumpsters proved to be incredibly powerful when you know how to use ‘em.
