Call of Duty: Warzone is a huge hit, which makes even a simple graphical, non-gameplay bug catch a lot of attention. That was the case with the most recent leak, which saw a player randomly pull out bandages. The problem? Bandages don’t exist in Warzone.
A clip of the glitch was posted by regnilsemaj to the Warzone subreddit. In it, they grab an armor plate before they climb to the roof of a building. The animation of them getting on the ladder interrupts the act of armoring up. When they emerge on the roof, their character begins wrapping their arm in bandages instead of putting on the armor.
Commenters (and other gaming sites) have offered several possibilities for the glitch. One is that the bandages are a new healing item meant for the next update. Modern Warfare is on the verge of season 4, so some Warzone additions are likely. Battle royale games do thrive on constant change, after all.
Other comments suggest that bandages are left over from an earlier build of Warzone. The current game emphasizes regenerating health over carrying healing items. This encourages smarter use of cover and less time spent in inventory menus. In that way, Warzone sets itself apart from other popular titles like Fortnite or Apex Legends. So perhaps bandages were planned at some point, but abandoned when regenerating health proved itself to be a core gameplay aspect.
Whatever the case, bandages are in Warzone but only as an animation. Just climb a ladder while putting on armor to find them.
