Now that everybody knows about the bunkers in Call of Duty: Warzone, players are camping them to get easy kills. Not everybody is happy about the situation.

Last week, the doors to the bunkers in Call of Duty: Warzone opened. Inside was a ton of loot, but inside Bunker 11 was even more loot and references to Black Ops Cold War, the expected next game in the Call of Duty franchise.

To get inside the bunkers, you need to find a Red Access card. Except for Bunker 11, which requires that you first find a Russian Numbers phone to get a three-digit code, then you need to visit each of the bunkers listed in the three-digit code. It’s a huge endeavor since Red Access cards are rare drops to begin with. Finally getting inside a bunker is a triumph all on its own.

Which is why some players are mighty peeved that bunker campers are sitting outside waiting to blow them up.

“3 RPG’s FROM A FULL FREAKING SQUAD HIDDEN IN THE BUSHES!” Reddit user iQlipz-chan laments. “CAMPING TO THE LAST FREAKING SECOND TO AMBUSH A SOLO DUDE IN A GAME! How freaking toxic can you be.”

They’re not alone. “Love notes” are being left all over the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit venting frustration over the fact that nobody can access bunkers anymore because everyone seems to be camping them.

What we have here is a tragedy of the commons situation tied in with a little battle royale logic. Since everyone knows about the bunkers (and that they’re full of great loot), then everyone knows that camping outside them is a great way to catch players unaware.

However, not everyone is being a jerk about it. Some Warzone players are being nice and even helping other players gain access to the now-legendary Bunker 11 using the universal first-person-shooter peace sign of rapidly crouching. Inside Bunker 11 is the Mud Dauber, a unique SMG.

The fundamental issue remains that players are going to stake out locations of interest, and the bunkers are going to be interesting for some time yet.
