Dedicated fans of Call of Duty: Warzone have broken barriers by finding a way into one of the game’s most recognizable landmarks. The once impenetrable stadium has now been conquered, but the methods of entry are raising some eyebrows within the community.
It is worth pointing out that while players are able to physically enter the stadium, it doesn’t offer much in terms of exploration. While you are able to shoot through the roof and become virtually invisible to enemies close by, the stadium largely remains an empty vessel. It has also been recommended to avoid using this tactic in combat as it may lead to a ban.
The trick behind entering the stadium lies in some simple steps. Firstly, the player must drive a Tactical Rover and a Cargo Truck to the front of the stadium. It is advised to bring some comrades along for the break-in, as the trucks need to be positioned beneath a part of the roof that’s on fire. By parking the Rover below and driving the Cargo Truck up into a makeshift ramp, the player will then be able to scale the truck and climb up the damaged roof and into the stadium.
CoD gamers have managed to land on top of the stadium before and even seen helicopters fall through the mesh, suggesting that the sturdy fortress may not be so immune to explorers. Players have also spent a decent amount of time surveying the outside of the stadium for a hidden entry point but to no avail. Finding the building’s weakness must have involved a little luck and some creative thinking for the players to gain access. The unpractical entry raises questions in the gaming community about whether this is a glitch or not.
Perhaps the devs allowed the stadium to remain partially accessible to see if eagle-eyed players could spot the opening and think their way in. If this was left noticeable for gamers then it could suggest that the stadium might become a battle arena for future events and even regular combat play as some sort of teaser. It is more likely though that this entry would be flagged as cheating, especially if a player is caught using it to their tactical advantage.
Whether it’s a glitch or an added tease of more exploration to come, the Call of Duty series still provides relentless thrills in anticipation of what fans will discover next.
