Warzone Rumble has returned to Warzone this week as Infinity Ward continues to rotate playlists in and out, no matter how popular they are.
The release of Call of Duty: Warzone couldn’t have happened at a better time for its developers, Infinity Ward. Just as many parts of the world were being forced into lockdown, CoD’s take on battle royale was released free of charge. It required a big download to kick things off, and subsequent massive updates, but tens of millions of people have deemed that a worthy sacrifice.
What IW won’t have been used to is the amount of complaining that comes part and parcel of heading up a BR title. Shocking considering that most of them are offered up free of charge. BR games tend to be played by a lot more people than any other game since they don’t cost anything, which makes it harder to please of all their players all of the time.
The first time that became clear in terms of Warzone was when IW started to switch out certain modes. Players got excited when rumors of new playlists started to swirl. That excitement quickly disappeared when those new playlists replaced the original ones. One of the playlists removed was Warzone Rumble.
Good news Rumble fans! Warzone Rumble is back via the latest update which means it is available to play right now. For those unfamiliar with Warzone Rumble, the mode pits two teams of 75 against each other. Players can respawn as many times as they like and the winning team is the one that achieves the required number of kills first rather than the first team to wipe out the other.
As Team Rumble is to Fortnite, Warzone Rumble is a mode for players who don’t like to run the risk of a round coming to an end shortly after they hit the ground. Traversing Verdansk for 15 minutes only to be shot dead by the first person you see can be pretty frustrating. Team Rumble allows for players to make those mistakes without that big of a penalty, which also means players can take more risks.
