Get ready to start your week off with a blast of nostalgia, everyone (or perhaps rather, every 20-something who grew up with shows like Drake and Josh, Kenan and Kel, and other Nickelodeon classics blaring out from the TV after school)!
As usual, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans have stepped up to the game. This time, we have a dedicated individual by the name of BrokeDave who has meticulously recreated the Drake and Josh intro entirely within Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Check it out below:
Unless you’re a real die-hard fan of the early-2000s sitcom and have all four seasons memorized, chances are you had to check out the original intro as a refresher first. If you do so, you’ll notice that this magnificent Animal Crossing reimagining is primarily modelled after the intro for the fourth season of Drake and Josh.
However, creator BrokeDave apparently also added in some extra scenes that he believed would “jog people’s memories.” Much appreciated by many, for sure, seeing as the last episode aired almost exactly 13 years ago.
