As part of the ongoing Summer Game Fest events, Bungie is pulling the curtain back on what’s next for Destiny 2. The big Destiny 2 reveal is expected to show off the game’s “next chapter,” giving fans of the looter-shooter an idea of what to expect from upcoming new content, including Season 11 and the next major expansion.
Some details have already leaked online for the Destiny 2 expansion. Assuming they’re correct, the Destiny 2 expansion will launch on September 22, and it will increase the required hard drive space for Destiny 2 to 105GB. Whether or not that’s accurate remains to be seen, but fans should find out when they tune in to the Destiny 2: The Next Chapter reveal stream at 11am CT.
Besides revealing the next Destiny 2 expansion, the stream is also expected to showcase Season 11. Rumored to be entitled Season of the Arrivals, Destiny 2’s next season is likely to come much sooner than the fall expansion, so it may be of particular interest to fans of the franchise.
Anyone interested in seeing what’s next from Destiny 2 should be sure to tune in. Perhaps information on Destiny 2 next-gen versions will come as well, but that may be expecting a bit too much. Fans will just have to watch to find out.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
