RUE Having trouble parking your fighter jet on Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V? Take a look at the GIF below to see how it’s supposed to be done.
Despite the controversial premise that the games are based around (they are named after the phrase used for stealing a vehicle in the United States after all) the Grand Theft Auto series has become one of the most popular in all of gaming history. It all began on the PlayStation with the original few editions that were a far cry from today’s iterations—two dimensional and looking down on the city from a bird’s eye view.
Even though the latest addition to the series is now four years old it is still the go-to game for many gamers across all major platforms. That’s mostly down to the multitude of things that there are to do in the game, both online and offline. Only recently, the powers-that-be at Rockstar added The Doomsday Heist to for online players, expanding the already extremely large amount of things to do across Los Santos and the rest of the map.
With such an expansive map to explore, players like to have a number of vehicles to choose from to explore the world of GTA V. One of the more tricky modes of transport to master is the fighter jet. Those of you who struggle to control the much sought after jet might get a little jealous when you see the GIF below. Landings don’t get any better than this one posted by Reddit user Shaarp1 one as the player seems to effectively perform a handbrake turn in the jet and slides it perfectly into its home on the airfield.

The luckier and more advanced players among you may very well have your own fighter jets waiting for you when you log in to the virtual world of San Andreas. Others will know the pain of having to steal one from the military base if you want to take it for a spin. That comes with a lot of problems as you will have to dodge missiles from the people you stole it from as they attempt to knock you from the sky. With pressure like that, a landing akin to the one above is probably not on the cards for you.
If you’re looking for something new to do on GTA V, which is extremely unlikely considering how much there is to do in the game, then perhaps this article has just opened your eyes to a new challenge. Think you can land a fighter jet as perfectly as the landing demonstrated in the GIF? We don’t think it’s a feat that will easily be repeated.
