Wondering in which DnD alignment would your character fall according to your sign’s strengths and weaknesses? Take a look at this list!

Dungeons and Dragon’s alignment system is one of the most influential game mechanics ever created. Its influence in RPG games, (table and console-based) is undeniable, and it has sparked a lot of philosophical debates among gamers, geeks and roleplayers since its inception.

In this list, we’re going to weigh all Zodiac signs traits, strengths, and weaknesses against DnD’s alignment system, so you can know in which alignment would you fall according to your Zodiac sign.

12 Aries: Chaotic Evil

A Character that is Chaotic Evil will always obey its own desires, and won’t think twice to hurt or use others if they gain something from it, sometimes they’ll do that just because they fell like it. It’s an alignment of individualism with little regard for rules or others.

Aries individuals are often creative, impatient and brave, which are common traits of Chaotic Evil characters. They are also known for their egoistic and narcissistic behavior, as isn’t rare for them to tell others that they’re the best thing in the world, and what’s worse, they actually believe it.

11 Taurus: Lawful Evil

While Lawful characters obey the law because it is the correct thing to do, Lawful Evil characters do so because it benefits them. They are the kind of people that will push laws that support their causes and ideals, without regard for consequences or the well-being of others.

Taurus people are very organized, patient, logical and focused, traits that naturally marks them as morally lawful. The thing is, they can be superficial, dominating and headstrong, and when those traits are mixed with their organizational skills it makes them Lawful Evil.

10 Gemini: True Neutral

The True Neutral alignment is often said to be the most difficult to play. This is due to it being an alignment that is at the center of all others, which gives them the freedom to weigh in on other’s opinions and values. True Neutral characters aren’t good nor bad, they just are.

People who are Gemini are intelligent and versatile, which often leads them to become mediators between their friends. They also tend to be very analytical individuals, which sometimes makes them take their time to make hard choices.

9 Cancer: Chaotic Good

A character that is Chaotic Good will always be found doing what is right, regardless of norms or laws. They also don’t care about what others think of them, and they will often perform acts of altruism even if they end up looking as eccentrics.

Cancers are caring and loving individuals, and due to their faithfulness and intuitive behavior, they often do good on behalf of others. But they’re also unruly and prone to being emotionally-driven, which often leads them into, well, chaotic situations.

8 Leo: Lawful Good

Often known as the “goody-two-shoes alignment,” Lawful Good is an alignment that fits characters who abide the laws or their own complex moral code. Lawful Good characters are always trying to do good and help others, while doing their best to avoid breaking laws.

Leos are natural leaders who care about their loved ones, and they always go out of their way to make acts of kindness. One of their negative traits is that they are sometimes too arrogant to drop ideals or rules, even those that they instill unto others.

7 Virgo: True Neutral

True Neutral characters are always in a state of calm and philosophical pondering. They also don’t take side on things, and if they do, it wouldn’t be rare for them to change their loyalties if their freedom is compromised.

Virgos are usually intelligent and curious, and due to their patience they’re often found pursuing higher knowledge. Virgo people are also reliable and honest, but thanks to their overly analytical approach and fuzziness they often take their time to take hard stances.

6 Libra: Chaotic Neutral

Chaotic Neutral is the alignment of the unchained. People often associate it with madmen and anarchists due to their wild behavior and aversion of laws, but this alignment also suits people with hedonistic lifestyles or impulsive individuals.

This Alignment fits Libras due to their habit of following their whims, and because they protect their individual freedom. Libras are also known for being slow to make hard decisions, as they’d rather follow their heart than make a choice that’d hold them back later.

5 Scorpio: Neutral Evil

Characters who are Neutral Evil are always looking out for themselves. They won’t hesitate to take any actions that will help them in their lives, as they care little for rules or the well-being of others. They also tend to be secretive, cunning and self-motivated.

While all these traits seem negative, Neutral Evil fits Scorpios as they’re often ambitious and focused individuals. People under the sign of Scorpio are said to be at times jealous and possessive, which are common things among Neutral Evil characters.

4 Sagittarius: Chaotic Good

Any Chaotic Good character will do everything in its power to help others, even if that implies breaking the rules or making some harmless collateral damage. They will also protect other individuals’ freedom, and won’t care if they have to lie to keep someone safe.

Sagittarius is known to be a rather wild sign. They do whatever they can to help those they care about, but sometimes their impatience and hotheadedness may lead them to break a rule or two to achieve their goals.

3 Capricorn: Lawful Neutral

People often associate Lawful Neutral with boring Paladins or Wizards who only follow rules, but that’s just wrong. Lawful characters are able to twist the rules as much as they can without breaking them, as long as it benefits others.

People who are born under Capricorn are known for being very work-driven and loyal. They are responsible to the point of exhaustion and value team playing. The thing is, they are also very unforgiving and critical of those that aren’t up to their standards.

2 Aquarius: Neutral Good

Neutral Good is the alignment of those who respect freedoms and laws, but only if they aren’t oppressive or hurtful. Characters of this alignment are goodhearted, and they will always do their best to help others, even if it sometimes means breaking the law.

Aquarians are very open-minded and easygoing individuals who are prone to helping others. While they usually follow the rules, they won’t care if they have to break them for their personal gain or to help others, but only if they won’t hurt others in the process.

1 Pisces: Lawful Neutral

If Lawful Neutral had a motto, it’d be, “Obey the law, or else.” Lawful Neutral characters tend to be very attached to law and order, without caring if said rules are inherently evil or good. They will never lie or break a promise, as they don’t like to be seen breaking the rules.

Those who have Pisces as their signs are empathetic, emotional and very selfless, and they fit the Lawful Neutral alignment because they always prioritize their ideals and rules over all else. It isn’t also rare for them to become very moody when people they idealize disappoints them.
